Annual Gathering excitement is mounting!

All is ready for the 2025 Annual Gathering, which begins this Friday from 18:00 at the Livermead House Hotel in Torquay.
All 87 attendees have received their Joining Instructions and have sent in their menu selections for the evening meals. 'Walkers' and 'Tourists' have clear plans for the weekend activities and itineraries. The entertainments and presentations are probably still being prepared and rehearsed but we know that they'll be 'alright on the night'... The Lead Organiser has done everything possible to ensure that the event runs smoothly and is enjoyed by all. Nothing will go wrong - and it'll be another Society event to remember!
Keen attendees are quickly re-reading Saucers over the Moor and Where's My Girl, both set in Devon, and dipping into Saville's reference book Come to Devon.
Everyone is also eager to take their first look on Friday at the 2025 Souvenir Programme and the new 2025 Annual Gathering badge, given to every attendee in their welcome packs.
Interspersed in the programme are options to visit some of the following: Torre Abbey, The Agatha Christie Mile, Plymouth, Princetown, Dartmoor (including Wistman's Wood), Kent's Cavern, Brixham
And the Annual General Meeting on Sunday is open to all Society Members to attend - either in person or on Zoom. See the Members Area of the website to find out more, including how to access all the relevant papers and reports. We'll only be printing a handful of copies, for those few who have no access to the Internet.
See you there!
